These recordings...

All the recordings I post here will be what I think are VG+(B/B+) quality and unless stated otherwise will be audience recordings. They will not be to everyone's taste but the idea is to give fellow music fans a chance to hear rare recordings from a certain era(the 80's).Many of these I have had stored away for 30+ years and will be available for the first time...

If it's soundboard A+ quality you are after these will not be for you...BUT I would never post anything that was unlistenable.. So pop the headphones on and grab your air guitar of choice... lets ROCK

To be honest i was never a huge fan of boc,, i had one or two albums and i did like "THAT SONG" but even live to me they looked like they were going through the motions although i did like there guitar duel towards the end....
As for the festival itself....AMAZING... having been to both dortmund & kaiserslautern over the previous 2 days our energy levels were shot to pieces what with all the travelling and alcohol..thankfully our poor driver was t total but i think he stayed in the van for much of this gig recovering.. where as we with a couple of local beers in us found that extra bit of energy to crack on and enjoy ourselves..... sister & lizzy stole the day but overall the line up was brilliant (well except for meatloaf)...unforgetable 3 days in germany...enjoy ed

26th JULY

27th JULY

A big thanks to rocket for sending these shows through to me...............

What can i say about rose tattoo..Firstly they were without doubt one of the best bands i was fortunate to see back in the early 80's...not only did they have some amazing songs but in angry anderson they had a frontman who you could not take your eyes off...he put 100% into every performance whether he was pissed or not... as i said i went to see them at least 10 times including the above shows where they destroyed rainbow at the hammy o...But my lasting memory of the tatts was at the marquee club on the 3rd october 1981...of the 100's of gigs i went to at the marquee this stands out as the BEST (along with y & t and twisted sister)..i wish i had recorded it but i spent the whole gig at front of stage (to my total embarrassment i am caught in this picture that appeared in kerrang....and no i will not tell you which one is me).

So if you fancy listening to raw aussie boogie rock then grab these shows (quality quite good considering) or get yourself copies of the their first 3 albums..they are brilliant...enjoy ed
