At last I have put a blog together with the idea of sharing recordings and thoughts of what for me was the best period for music...THE 80'S.... I was fortunate enough to see many bands up and down the country during this period and thankfully I managed to record and trade many shows that i have now transferred. Feel free to correct me on any mistakes I may of made regards to venues song titles etc etc ...it was a long time ago... cheers ed....
These recordings...
All the recordings I post here will be what I think are VG+(B/B+) quality and unless stated otherwise will be audience recordings. They will not be to everyone's taste but the idea is to give fellow music fans a chance to hear rare recordings from a certain era(the 80's).Many of these I have had stored away for 30+ years and will be available for the first time...
If it's soundboard A+ quality you are after these will not be for you...BUT I would never post anything that was unlistenable.. So pop the headphones on and grab your air guitar of choice... lets ROCK

By '83 I had started to cross the channel with some friends to go see some festivals and this was one of them... at the time we did not know this would be their 2nd to last gig (we also went to Nuremburg ,the next day..THE last ever gig with phil) and it nearly didn't happen because scott got caught up in traffic and didn't arrive till the last seconds before showtime..
I never really enjoyed recording festivals because of the wind, rain etc and the fact that the toilets were normally a mile away...also I never really knew what the security would be like ... it would take me ages to sticky tape all the cassettes to the inside of my jacket.. and you do not want to know where I hid my Walkman!!!! anyway I'm glad I did record this and from memory I do not think I ever traded this show back then so quite possibly this could be the first time it's been up.....
** a big thanks to julian our driver and sober one...Julian buddy if ever you come across this please get in touch as it would be great to hear from you and relive some classic rock n roll moments **
