At last I have put a blog together with the idea of sharing recordings and thoughts of what for me was the best period for music...THE 80'S.... I was fortunate enough to see many bands up and down the country during this period and thankfully I managed to record and trade many shows that i have now transferred. Feel free to correct me on any mistakes I may of made regards to venues song titles etc etc ...it was a long time ago... cheers ed....
These recordings...
All the recordings I post here will be what I think are VG+(B/B+) quality and unless stated otherwise will be audience recordings. They will not be to everyone's taste but the idea is to give fellow music fans a chance to hear rare recordings from a certain era(the 80's).Many of these I have had stored away for 30+ years and will be available for the first time...
If it's soundboard A+ quality you are after these will not be for you...BUT I would never post anything that was unlistenable.. So pop the headphones on and grab your air guitar of choice... lets ROCK

ok the idea of this blog is not to give a history lesson of bands/gigs I went to back in the day,it is purely to make shows available that until now have not been posted...But let try to make sense of this band..they were praying mantis then became clive burr's escape then finally released an album under the band name of stratus... confused? so am I.... anyway what I will say is they had some of the most melodic tunes I have heard...catchy as hell... one lasting memory from this gig is the fact that burr's drum kit was massive and anyone who ever went to the marquee will know that was never a lot of room on stage (never mind the floor) but they got around it no problem..brilliant gig..enjoy ed
