These recordings...

All the recordings I post here will be what I think are VG+(B/B+) quality and unless stated otherwise will be audience recordings. They will not be to everyone's taste but the idea is to give fellow music fans a chance to hear rare recordings from a certain era(the 80's).Many of these I have had stored away for 30+ years and will be available for the first time...

If it's soundboard A+ quality you are after these will not be for you...BUT I would never post anything that was unlistenable.. So pop the headphones on and grab your air guitar of choice... lets ROCK

27th JULY

A big thanks to rocket for sending these shows through to me...............

What can i say about rose tattoo..Firstly they were without doubt one of the best bands i was fortunate to see back in the early 80's...not only did they have some amazing songs but in angry anderson they had a frontman who you could not take your eyes off...he put 100% into every performance whether he was pissed or not... as i said i went to see them at least 10 times including the above shows where they destroyed rainbow at the hammy o...But my lasting memory of the tatts was at the marquee club on the 3rd october 1981...of the 100's of gigs i went to at the marquee this stands out as the BEST (along with y & t and twisted sister)..i wish i had recorded it but i spent the whole gig at front of stage (to my total embarrassment i am caught in this picture that appeared in kerrang....and no i will not tell you which one is me).

So if you fancy listening to raw aussie boogie rock then grab these shows (quality quite good considering) or get yourself copies of the their first 3 albums..they are brilliant...enjoy ed

17.land of make believe

mp3

What a band....after winning the euro song contest they went  on to have many hits over the years and although they went through many line up changes i think we will all agree this was by far their best period.....when you can pull out such classics as the camera never lies, land of make believe and i hear talk..well they could of played for hours..the only downside was their hits medley... i would of loved to hear these songs complete and not part of a medley but that aside this was  a great gig...it's a shame they did not achieve worldwide success which with all the hard work they put  into their short career they truly deserved...I have searched the web for hours and have not been able to find this show so i am hoping it's a first time recording out there..... enjoy ed

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

This is not a wind up....YES it is the mighty buck fizz at their peak...recorded by a very good friend of mine MR L.... who i would of loved to have seen with his long hair and leather jacket at the gig....... great stuff.... Where else in blog world would you find a bucks fizz show between an exodus and tank recording...he he he
